Probably would have been. Maybe. FIFA come down like the wrath of God on anyone making any money from the game that doesn't ultimately end up lining their own pockets.

They also recently 'donated' 20m euros to Interpol to help with 'investigations' into 'match fixing in the far east'. That's right: 20 million. Interpol. FIFA - currently mired in massive corruption allegations - gave a huge wad of cash to an international crime investigation organization.
