Been looking at it with a slight interest, it looks kinda cool, but not sure how long I could keep myself interested. I mean, put in anyway you like, it is pretty much just Minecraft in 2D.

I originally thought it was a shameless copy of minecraft until I watched a couple let's plays and read through the wiki. What I've come away with is that the game is mostly about fighting monsters,Fighting bosses, exploring regions, and finding rare equipment. The building aspect is only really a side part, although necessary to get NPC's to spawn.

While this is what MC may be in the future, I think in the action/rpg category it'd ahead of the game.

What I do like is the fact that there are special events where monsters swarm your base. One involves zombies and the other goblins. So it's kinds MC meets DF meets an RPG.
