I've only ever been in an accident once, and a fairly minor one at that, but even the most harmless of them are still bad affairs for the driver.

Brother, you oughta change your name to "Snakebit."

Glad you're OK, and the wee ones, too. Does your (or the other guy's) insurance provide rental reimbursement or rental services? Might save you having to bum a ride from folks.

Keep an eye on yourself and the kid for a few days, just in case any soft tissue issues like sprains, muscle pulls, whiplash, and the like, crop up.
