It doesn't affect the hull - the hull shadow is ok (that is, the light side is the side from the sun), the problem is with the turm shadow - it is inverted (that is, the dark side is the side from the sun), as on the screnshot. I don't have this problem with "emblems your way" version.

That's weird; I just made a new skin, and took some screenshots with Aces' mod installed, but the shadows work correctly on my system...

EDIT whoops, you're talking about the ' old emblems' version right? I use the 'emblems your way' version. So at least I can confirm that that one works fine.

Thanks for the tests chaps, I can confirm I have a problem too with the old emblem verasion, this version has given me nightmares. Good to know that the turm emblems your way version is okay at least that nakes thinghs slightly better,

Great looking skin mate.

More news when I have it.

NEW VERSION (v3.1)

Changlelog v3.1:

Fixed engine grills displaying intermitantly bug.
Fixed inverted shadow on old emblem compat versions bug.
Added water reflections for turm ladders
Added water reflections for animated Radio Antenna.

I strongly recommend that v3.0 users update to version 3.1 as it fixes a couple of major bugs as well as adding a couple of new features. I have updated the download links to point to the new version.

I wonder if it is possible to remove the grills and new emblems flickering problem. It looks like the external texture (eg. emblem) and the base texture (eg. turm) are very near, and they flicker between one and the other. Maybe if the external texture would be slightly far away from the base texture, and there would be a slight gap between them, they would stop to flicker? I tried to find the position coordinates of grill and new emblem in silent 3ditor, but without success.

Here for example is similar problem with other textures flickering on 9c - as you see, when I zoom out in 3ditor, the flickering textures hide behind other texture, there is clear conflict:

Hi mate,

Regarding the flickering deck textures that's not something that I have changed in my mod.

Regarding the engine grills flickering I only get it from distance and I think it's a video issue. The texture is there in the file. You can freely edit this texture if you wish eg. move the grills apart, if so remember to re-do the Alpha channel. The texture is called "Turm9c1_Extra_Textures_Style1.tga" and if you edit it then remember to re-import it into all four of the supplied turm files for the different versions. Actually there is a gap b etween the textures.

BTW, have you dowenloaded and installed the latest version v3.1 that I uploaded yesterday?.
