You are welcome my friend and this is good because now you are starting to see how AO work and what we have to do to correct it

Best regards Hans

Looks very well and also the video. My ship-test is a little more big than this, but it needs some work.

HAHD in progress

Best regards.

Hi mate,

Fantastic work

But i will sink it because of the color

By the way i made those small ships destroyable by flak no more spy disguise as fishermen

Great first vid keep up the good work finally i won't be alone anymore doing all those ships

I am pretty busy animating our new crew members totally new custom character that look like humans!

I am making different loop for crew so they will have many movements type trigger by statemachines controller based on order.

Screenies to follow soon and also vid.

Best regards Hans

Hi mate,

Looking forward to see your first ships but make sure no team members are working on the same ships

Best regards Hans

Why is there never any sailors on the decks of SH3?
This is not a criticism but an observation.
Nice work the whole team.
Claude.

This is difficult to implement, if at all, and would probably take toooo long!

That is very nice idea Claude !

the discussions-investigations between Hans , Privateer and DivingDuck on animation themes have lead to very good discoveries and the 'road' has open for creating new animations in sh3 so i believe that will be no problem for Hans to create animations for crew on ships but better wait his reply on this theme (i suspect that the main problem would be that this kind of stuff are 'heavy' for sh3's engine resources)

in the meantime i was looking at the details of Hans's 'Fletcher' and took some pics for you ! here you are :

@reaper7

...
For video making:
Add to _Dummy_Cam_FreeCamera Optical parameters...
I've got ZoomLevels 1x and 7x ...
... and may be for other cameras...

... and in Command_xx.cfg:
...
[Cmd70]
Name=Cam_zoom_in
Ctxt=1
Key0=0x05,cR,"CTRL + M.Wheel"
...
(;)[Cmd73]
;Name=Cam_wheel_zoom
;Ctxt=1
;Key0=0x05,R,"M.Wheel"

CTRL + M.Wheel - it's for smooth zoom from 1x (min)... to 10x (max), default values...

Hi Claude,

Maybe you read in my mind because i already made a small loop of sailor opening door on ship and walking to ballustrade i also made one for walking on deck and climbing stairs.

It was part of my list of surprised features on release but now i spoil it

For the engine i didn't notice any frame drop but that for sure i wont add 100 of them on deck.

The engine can take it if you know how to correctly optimize your animation i mean that i made small loop with few frames but they still look good.

Best regards Hans
