what about historical buildings to add? now, as we can import new units, we should aim at a realistic looking harbour silhoutte and maybe some famous buildings. for example the castle in kiel or some other historical buildings...

and for historical correct cranes i recommend to search for historical photos from hamburg or kiel.

Hi urfisch!

Thx for the link.
I agree to you. But Kiel already has some historical buildings as the Moltenauer memorial or the memorial at Laboe. also the Prinz Heinrich bridge is incorperated...
I think other harbours could need historical buildings.

Also.. all in all you´ve to realize that all buildings and units can only be placed as single additional unit in the game. Changes to the harbour buildings themselves are still not possible because of a missing importing tool. And also to mention...every additional 3d unit may slow down the game a bit.

Yes it does slow the game down.

I now get about 20fps in kiel and 35fps everywhere else (fps is locked at 35 with antilag mod). I have a decent computer (specs in my sig).

I'd imagine it all the extra ships and buildings added.

So be careful about how much you add to harbours.

At the moment I am thinking about reworking the big crane again because it simply looks too different and Alex´s computer has heat problems so that he can´t rework the model.

hi urfisch!

your "bauernhof" we used since wac 3.0 and further on i replaced the trees as you might know there were errors in displaying. in sh5 there are enough trees i think, so the trees could be removed. but the surroundings could definitely need some farm animals, etc.

greetings
Han

That depends which mod you activated/installed last.
