Cheers Torplexed....nice Russki, what is the scale?

I agree with what Chris was saying earlier about putting your collection on view rather than keeping them in the box but I must admit, I do keep the boxes and packaging because when I'm old it would be my intention to sell them on but I wouldn't consider them an actual 'investment' at the present time.

I'd be glad if I recovered what I'd payed...would always pay for a holiday or two away.

That's a good size scale...I used to make plastic 1/35 (Tamiya mostly) kits 25/30 years back.

I use eBay.co.uk a lot and tend to go for the 'new' examples but will go for those harder to find ones if they are 'used' but written and photographed as in 'mint' condition.

Being a collector of Brit post WWII only I reckon I'm within 20 or so of completing my collection (certainly Corgi wise) unless new examples are released.

What, I have NEVER claimed that I would think that it is directed at me, if that's what you are referring to, no way!

Some of my diecast model collection

Out of the three tanks I love the Centurion most. Definitely stands out from the rest. I missed the T-72. I'm still hoping I could get my hands on the Minichamps T-72. The store which I bought them from no longer imports Minichamps tank anymore. I think it may have gone bust now even.

There also a number of dragon armor models but they are so dusty on the cabinet that I'm ashamed to post them.

Edit: But here they are:

Yeah...possibly the best site I've come across but the postage costs from the US to the UK price them out of the market at my end.

Update: The two latest aircraft ordered arrived today.

Here is the Tonka (AA33606...........Corgi...............Tornado GR.4A 'Iraqi Freedom'.....227/3600) I haven't put the ordnance or undercarriage on her because she is going straight back into her box for storage purposes until I've got a man cave.

Nor have I ever claimed to be a photographer

I'll get some pics of the Tiffie and post them soon.
