Hmm... Play golf in a minefield... during a lightning storm... in the DMZ.

Imagine what infinite respawn would mean to a torture victim. Being tortured to death only to be respawned to repeat the process again over and over.

I'm starting to scare myself!

Terrible! Same applies to survivor of shipwreck when nobody knows what have happened. Stuck middle of the ocean until you drown... and drown... and drown... and drown... and........

They actually used that as a plot device in Stargate: SG-1. Evil aliens with ressurection device. Torture the victim to death, stick him in the machine and then start all over again.

What'd be worse? A shotgun wedding "proposal" you declined,or going through with the wedding?

Well, this way you could find out. Do one. Go back, do the other. Go back, redo whichever one works for you.

Of course respawning could make suicide a whole lot more fun. Or a whole lot less fun if you really meant it.

Unless some jerk off puts the spawn point in the middle of the ocean as in Tims scenario!

Yah, I'll vote for this...

So what if it makes life like Groundhog Day. Well worth the price for conducting trial runs and then going back to modify your approach.

ironically just as I jumped on this thread I started playing this song...

which would totally be playing in the background of all the awesome things I would do knowing I wouldn't ever die.

Y'know I bet they wouldn't be half as fun without the chance of dying... Danger adds spice.
