Talk about lousy journalism. Schwarzenegger played a "friendly" terminator, and I don't know how he could have survived the explosion of the enemy terminator's core at point blank range.

Nice catch!

In any case, it's not like the Terminator movies were at all interested in logically following any linear plot line. When time travel is the key component of a story, keeping the story straight becomes optional.
