Something I will never understand is drinking games where you are rewarded with a drink if you lose.

There's a right nasty speed bump near my favourite pub and we sit there with our drinks and everytime a car hits the pavement (it's heard quite loud) after driving over it too fast we take a shot. We're drunk after an hour

The boys (Quality Street Gang) sit around a table and someone and everyone is dealt a card.
All cards are turned over and the highest card (there can't be two cards the same prior to dealing I meant to say, so if ten were playing, ten different numbered cards would be dealt) gets to choose a song. That individual sings the first line and in a clockwise direction the next person sings the next line and on it goes until someone doesn't know the next line and the forfeit is to drink a one inch measure of whatever you are drinking. As the night goes on everyone tends to believe whatever it is they are singing is the true lyrics. |

As soon as a predetermined quantity had been consumed, the final loser would have to perform a forfeit, which was usually obscenely biological.
Ford Prefect usually played to lose.

The one me and my friends usually play is, drink until you're out of beer, go buy more and then keep drinking that until it's gone
![]() Never really done any drinking games as we've never seen the point. Measures for spirits on the other hand... We usually do the old penny test for vodka, gin, sambuca etc... Put a penny in a glass, fill it with coke until the penny disappears (you have to be right over the glass for this to work properly) then fill the glass with your choice of alcohol until the penny becomes visible again ![]()

"Terry Turbo" we called it.
In the army we used to initiate the Jubes (newbies) by laying them on a bench or table, whatever met the need, a flexible tube with a funnel attached and insert tube into recruit's mouth, whilst holding the tube closed. Enter copious amounts of Beer cans, back then it was VB, unload contents of said copious amount of beer cans into funnel. Then, release all hell into recruit's eagerly-awaiting insides! |
