This is one of the "best and most realistic" skins that I've ever seen in a sub simulation. Fantastic.

Could you offer one skin with more weathering?

Wow...just wow.

The amazing amount of thought and detail that went into this skin really shows.

I hope to see this skin soon because I am about to get my VIIC and it will need a new paint job before my first patrol

Thank you so much for your hard work.

Hi:

Not tested, but screenshots say alot, seems the most accurate and best skin for VII-C, very good job.

Try VII-C photos from plastic models (revell for example), most of them are very accurate.

Best sub skin I have ever seen in a game . Absolutely superb work, mate keep it up. I love that the boat looks weathered but it doesnt look too rusty either. Just realistic.

Naights Thanks for your complements.

The plastic models are helpful, but when the com more details of the rivets and panels are not very accurate.

So I had to resort to black and white photos in good condition and photos of museum where they exhibit these wonderful machines of war

Thanks Stevepine.

We all know that these vessels were exposed to an extreme environment and their metallic structures were suffering much, but we know also that these devices underwent a restoration constant, at least at the beginning of the war.

Late in the war entered a period of neglect, especially the external structure, given the short time available to them for maintenance.

This first project I'm doing, I want to expose as they were at the beginning of the war, to wear in the paint and rust at critical points of the submarine.

I have planned to perform a second job with a high degree of degradation of the external structure of the submarine.

There is an excellent work done by etheberge (A Fistful of Emblems) where are all these historical emblems:

I know, but it´s not by U-552 realistic. U-552 had 2 large red devils and the 7th U-Boat flotilla emblem:

Real U-552:

and

in SH5 with "A Fistful of Emblems mod":

U-552 is my lovely U-Boot, my favorite and I would really liked your very nice skin with realistic emblems.

Very good!

I look forward to this U-552 skin! You made me so happy!

It will be too for VIIC/41? I know, that U-552 was a VIIC U-boat and not VIIC/41, but it would be great for me in SH5!

Thanks for the great comments.

TheBeast I want to thank, for allowing me to take several ideas from his work SKIN_SH5 Type-VIIC-North Atlantic Grime.

This work will be released in one or two weeks due to little free time I have.

Thanks Vorkapitan.

The first job I'm doing with significant wear on the cover painting and some oxides in specific parts of the submarine.

I'm working on a second project which will have an extreme aging.

StarTrekMike Thank you for your comments.

As explained in the beginning, all depends on the free time I have to release this work, hopefully in a week.

Thanks marleymen.

I'm not using Photoshop for its high cost, I use Gimp which in my particular opinion has nothing to envy to Photoshop.

Gracias por recordarme a mi madre en Español.
Es agradable tener amigos de habla Hispana en este Foro

I'm doing a small test on the U-boat VIIC tipe-41 and I found several shortcomings of the projections on the 3D object.

Unfortunately I can not do anything to remedy this defect of the original game, because you must modify the. gr2 to repair these strange things, made by the developers of Ubisoft.

I show some photos, simply place the textures I made for the VIIC:

This is what I am explaining:

As I said before, it's nice to have Spanish speaking friends and especially my country in this great forum.

I think the translation is not right, the translator does not help me...
