I was never a good military modeler, but they are a very well-know outfit that does add-on stuff (enhancements to injection molded kits, etc).

I've heard of them from my fine scale modeling magazine, but I don't know anything about them. Their stuff looks nice though.

I've used quite a bit of their stuff in earlier modelling years and can thoroughly recommend them Chris...one of the best in 1/35 for sure.

These do look nice. Shame there are not more subs/uboats offered.

I used to build 1/35 armour (mostly Tamiya) during my meodelling days.

Nowadays I collect 1/72 diecast aircraft.

I'm like you Jim. Modelled alot but now purchase diecast. So much easier. I have plenty of Armour Collection 1:48 scale aircraft. I have the entire set of Matchbox Collectible WWII aircraft. I guess it is about 30 planes in all. A few of the same planes but different color schemes. The prices sure have climbed on them. I was getting them for $10.00. I see them now for $30.00 and up.

Corgi! I had a few when I was a kid. Chitty Chitty Bang Bang car and the Yellow Submarine!

There are 49 Matchbox Collectible Aircraft. I have seen some outlandish prices. I have this P-38. My second purchase over 5 years ago. I have seen it bidding for over $100.00 on Ebay. That was a few years ago.

It's a bit ironic taking into account how many American friends I have but almost every time I get my eyes on an aircraft I'd like to add to my collection and isn't easily found in the UK, I almost always find it here:

http://www.flyingmule.com/

The prices are on a par with those in the UK (sometimes cheaper in fact) but the postage fees across the pond are astronomical

Yes, Flying Mule. I visit his site quite a bit. I have not made any purchase from Flying Mule though.

Nor me but I can imagine it being a veritable aladdins cave.

I got into the Ultimate Soldier 1:18 aircaft. I have quite a few. I mailed one to Dowly...lucky bugger. Retailed about $85.00 when I got it years ago. You can find it on Ebay for $199.00-$249.00. I know Dowly enjoys the model. My others I have stored away.

I've never been a collector, just a builder. Built hundreds of models in my day, but none in the last several years, mainly due to the homeless thing. I've built a lot of vacuform kits and scratchbuilt my share.
