This does not sound good.

We’ve been working on finishing up Achievements and Statistics for 1.5, I ran into some issues with JSON, got frustrated, and added weather instead. Developing new features like that is what I enjoy doing the most, so I ended up covering a lot of ground. There’s periodic downfall (snow in snowy areas, rain in others, nothing in deserts) that make the sky darker, hides the sun, moon and stars, and makes everything wet. Ice grows back in cold regions, and snowfall covers the ground when it’s snowing. During rain/snow, there can be occasional thunderstorms with lightning. I haven’t finished the actual lightning bolt yet, but everything else is fairly done.
Once the stats are done and the weather has been tested through, we’ll release 1.5. I’m guessing this will be next week. The piston mod might get added, but it will not be in time for 1.5.
Although, this does.

At least it could have been harvested. You know how I feel about burning resources.

It was an interesting convo, I quite enjoyed it too.

Having weather in MC sounds epically awesome. Rain was already in classic, if you pressed...F5 I think it was and I think snow used to happen on the old arctic maps so the framework has been there.
What I loved about the rain (and I presume the snow) is that if you build a house it will not rain inside the house, unlike some other games.

Wait... could lightning set wooden structures on fire?

Think I'll start adding lightning rods.

I didn't think of that. I hope not, or we're going to get some lag problems from forest fires...

Mkeabs Ice Palace will look awesome in the snow though

Excellent. Good work that man. Spike, we should consider a warehouse at some point. Trust me...I have a LOT of cobblestone...so much so in fact that I have to dump it regularly down holes whilst tunnelling.

Anyway, Krauters castle is the next stop. Krauter, is it alright if I build the station on the inside of the castle grounds?

After Krauter is the long drive up North-west to Keab and Arclights places.

Any other resources needed?

Think I might just settle for supplying the city with resources than doing any construction.

Are you still where you started? I'll be flinging the railway that way at some point soon.

Indeed I was, but the need for wood was far greater than what that little chamber could provide.

Anyway, I'm done with wood harvesting for now. I have a few piles of logs which should suffice for the completion of the project. Let's hope!

What I need now is Sugar Cane, lots of Sugar Canes! For sweet bookshelves.

Yeah, I'm still NEE from Spawn, I've got a tunnel that goes a short distance to the west that I'm planning to use as a railway.

You can tunnel right into the grounds if you like, there's plenty of room for that.
