As much as I love Johnny Depp (who can do no wrong, and you shall not speak ill of him in my presence ), I would trade the last two POTC movies for another Master & Commander provided they got the same bunch of peeps together for it.

A master and commander movie would be to ''complicated'' for the simple minds of todays population. Michael Bay is more experienced in pleasing the lower life forms.

Sad but true. Unfortunately, M&C used elements from many of the books. Too bad they didn't in fact do the actual book, Master and Commander since that had all kinds of awesome age of sail action--the intimacy of Sophie would be cool, too.
