Thanx for the tip with SH3 Commander 2.1. i downloaded the 2.2 version, it seems subsim is not hosting the new version yet.

Anyway that didnt help me with my problem, i made a test.
i reinstalled SH3 clean install with no savegames and configfiles left (i made a backup of my career and deleted SH3 folder from "own files" [or however this folder in english XP version is called]). after that i patched, installed the mod enabler and enabled RuB 1.44. i started the game, tried a single mission and the same again, as soon as i put man to my guns (flak or deckgun) the game crashes to desktop. it doesnt matter wether i put them there manually or by doubleclicking the station.
so this means that the crash has nothing to do with SH3 Commander or Harbor Traffic 146 and that the problem must be somewhere between SH3+RuB and my OS (which is WinXP Pro with SP2 + latest directx) or between SH3+RuB and my hardware (MSI KT4AV with onboard 10/100 LAN and AC'97 Audiochip, AMD 2800+ XP CPU,1 GB 333 RAM, MSI FX5600 Ultra 128MB) since SH3+RuB on others computers works fine.

so any idea because i am really stuck here, my OS is also new installed, only a few weeks old and i really want to play RuB with no flaws.
