HELP: Stranded in the middle of no where

Well I have to be the unluckiest Cpt around, have got myself stuck in the middle of the southern approaches with engines after dodging a very persistent DD.

Diesel Engines 100% damaged
Electric Engines 100% damaged

Now one of my crew is supposed to be able to repair destroyed equipment but not in this case and i'm screwed unless their is away to hack some life back into them???

Would normally just start again but I just clocked 1million ton patrol with 9 refits :| and my only save is with dead engines :|

you had bad luck... i think you must reload last save... dunno other better solution for this

You need to organise your saves better



Im not sure but I think I had all engines destroyed once. After the escort
gave up a left, I surface and spent two days fixing engines.

I cant remember if they were 100% or not, but it was close as I had to
surface to about 100m as I could not maintain depth and this was very worring with the escort looking for me

i had this once when i hit an tdws mine... bot engines destroyied 100%... not a chance to repair that

Sry., can you not end the mission somehow with Escape etc. ? What did you do ?

The physics are working in SH5, so after a year of more you may end washed up on shore somewhere by the currents, wind. You will need a bit more patience than usual and maybe some extra food and water. Start learn fishing and pray for rain. Keep us updated

when i had this problem i tryied to make the engineer to repair the destroyed sistems... each time he answered me that i am jocking... i had luck with an milk cow ship that passed in nearby and took us to the main base... i reported the engineer for disobedience and they puted him in an martial court... the engineer that i have now is better and he can repair all defected sistems

normally your engineer can repair your destroyed systems and you can prioritize repairs, why can't this be be done here?

In the future make at least 10 saves at different intervals of time. This way it will keep you headaches free.

if the destroyed sistems are at 100% damaged than they can not be repaired
