This mod only changes a texture file . I changed the GR2 FX file i think . I dont really know what i changed anymore .

- yes you are wright... i just verified - the aitland mod change only textures in his mod... anyway very cool your mod... most immersive and eye candy mod released in last period (in my opinion) of cource... so thank you Sober for this mod

Gentleman, am I installing this mod incorrectly with jsgme? I thought it was pretty brainless to use that software? Do I need to install it after everything else or something? If so, then that must mean that other mods that I have will not work because the readme's say they require being installed last.... Either way, Im not getting any deck spray and I've been in all kinds of weather with the mod enabled. Thanks for any help.

Ok, i installed this just like any other mod but notice nothing. I must be doing something wrong here, i DL'd the mod unzipped to my DT, i then placed it in my silent hunter 5 'Mods' folder then opened my Generic Mod enabler and selected "Sobers 3D deck spray mod" in there. Finally i launch my game....someone please help because this mod looks VERY well done and i would love to try it.

Ok... down the mod and uncompress...

enter in the follow path:
C:sobers 3D deck spray mod V7\MODS

here you will find an folder called:

sobers 3D deck spray mod V7 copy this folder from the path that i spoked to you and go to the:
C:\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 5\MODS

paste here the folder

Enable the folder via JGSME.. the folder must be enabled after Magnum Opus mod

How do i go about adding a sound to these particles . Do i use tdw gr2 editer ?

You need to add a SoundSource entry in the dsd file and possibly add entries to the Sh.sdl file if adding a sound that doesn't exist
