Default Radio Messages

Is there any way to turn off the constant radio messages about "periscope sighted" or "submarine spotted"? Every once in a while I can accept, but it seems to happen every few seconds.I think it spoils the whole game.

You can modify the radio messages box from your option.py or you can do that when you are in game

here you can see how you can do that in game:

cheers

- so Nostradamus looked in the future and told to the Uboats on the 2.12.1943 that the convoy is departed on 16.12.1943 and other on 16.12.1943 - maybe convoy will depart on that date and the agents report the estimated date for depart... and the enigma made some gramatical mistakes

Edit: maybe the enigma use the same rule like in chinese: ''
English speakers use tenses to indicate actions in time. There are tenses for the past, present and future, with corresponding rules for verb conjugation and sentence structure.
Mandarin Chinese does not have these types of tenses. One of the main difference between English grammar and Chinese grammar is that Chinese verbs do not conjugate. The English verb “go,” for example, conjugates as “going, gone, went,” whereas the Chinese (go) is always the same no matter what the time frame is - The Chinese have to learn at least 5,000 characters in order to read a newspaper'' - so this could make sense and maybe they writted departed but you must read will depart - just jocking

I also noticed that the radio messages are being recieved even at 150 meters. This is a bit of an immersion killer.

With MO we can adjutesd this via options.py file !

Find this entry:

# Below this depth do not receive radio contacts/reports (in meters)
BelowThisDepthDontReceiveRadio = 20

For my personal playing I´ve adjusted me 20 meters !

Best regards,
Magic
