I just took the Admiral Hipper from the Caribbean sea, through the Panama Canal. The "locks" on the Pacific side were a tight squeeze. If the heavy cruiser could make it through, a U-boat would have no problems.
First thing I ran into on the Pacific side in the EL grid were a couple of American 4 pipers. Once I got out into the open sea, I searched around but didn't find anything. I sailed down to the Galapegos Islands, and they weren't even rendered in the game. I then sailed North to the Mexican Coast, then up past Baja and into the San Francisco Bay. All that was modeled was the land mass, no ports or anything. Very "dead". |
