Game problems or computer problems????

It does it all the saves. I redid the career & it did it again

Are you playing at 100% realism?
If yes , then you can not teleport to base. You have to be the max 30km away from the harbor to dock , or literaly enter the port and dock.

There is a file in the .cfg folder :GameplaySettings.cfg

At the end of the file there are the values of the various settings.
Change one so that the total is less than 100
Save and run a patrol.
Try to teleport now.

KEEP A BACK UP OF THE ORIGINAL FILE. It is crucial.

Yep, 99% reality or less, and you can teleport to base from anywhere, 100% reality, no teleport to base.

Is this a brand new installation WITH NOTHING CHANGED in the CFG file or anywhere else?

If the answer is 'YES' then there is a serious problem here....you will more than likely have a fault based deep inside your OS that the SH3 game engine is unable to come to terms with.

You could try installing stock/vanilla SH3 and see if the problem persists.
