My SH3 is nothing like that graphics wise, is the interior of the sub different because of the expansion pack? Plus the map and instruments are different on mine, again becasue of the expansion pack or is it the mods ??

The interior should be the same with Jim's and the GWX team's mod For the map tools I'm using MaGUI widescreen. On my youtube channel I have the list of allt he mods, and it is a great out of box setup. Goodluck!
