Oh no we are not talking Traveler style "Sandcasters"?

With the weight of the device and the storage for the ablation particles you might as just well haul the armor around since it doesn't come with all the holes in the defenses.

That's pretty cool. I could see this being pretty effective against the usual HEAT weapons. Wouldn't do much of anything against a big warhead or a kinetic weapon though, would it...
