I have had similar incidents, but never in such a short timeframe as 5 minutes. Mine were either several hours, the longest was two days. Yes, two days is a long time to wait for a ship to sink, but it was the first time I had it happen to me. I was out of ammo and torps and the C3 had a good list to port so I waited and waited an waited. Seas were fairly rough and I was in high TC. Finally she just rolled over and I got no credit. However, I have had ships sink in TC. I think it has something to do with how rough the seas are, but can offer up no proof of this, just that when it has happened, it has been in heavy seas.
