On a more serious note, I try to get people to look at their own attitudes before condemning others. Not all Republicans fit into the easy slot you assigned them, just as not all Democrats fit the mold the ultra-conservatives here try to shove them in.

Both sides have something to offer, and simple-minded mockery and condemnation never contribute anything to the discussion.

Too many politicians in Washington and not enough Americans.

I am not a dem or a rep, but an American. Both parties have passed bills that were intended to advance their own party at the expense of the country as a whole.

Until they change their ways it is not going to get better, and I don't see it happening anytime soon.
