Default A huge favor.

I just purchased the digital copy of SH4 with the Uboat missions, while I am enjoying the game and now even more so with TMO installed...it just seems to so quiet without the radio going (like I have setup with SH5)

For SH5 I am using the Intercontinental radio pack that works with SH5 only if you replace the text in a CFG file...so I have the mod working for SH5 but now I want to install it to SH4

but I never backed up that file...

Does anyone have this mod and is using it for SH4 that has that very small file that they could send me? (it would save me from downloading the whole thing all over again)

I appreciate any help that come my way.

BTW, if someone could just post the text of that file, it would work just the same.

Thanks again.

Mike

What JREX53 said! Make sure you have a lt of room on your HD, as he radio mods can be quite huge.

Also, a nice little utility that keeps you from hearing the same events over and over again, is the Radio Station Manager. When you open the utility up, you will prepare the radio stations, by picking a date from your savegame folder, and any radio events that are earlier than that date will be blocked from playing. For instance, It's July 1941, and you load your game up, and turn on the radio, and hear all the news and previous radio programs all the way back to the attack on Pearl Harbor.

The Radio Station Manager stops that from happenning. Takes a minute to load, prepare, and close the utility. Then you're free to load the game up without the monotony of hearing something over and over again.

I think he's asking for the Intercontinental Radio Pack, which I don't have. That's why I didn't reply myself.

I just need the original music.cfg file or at least the text that needs to go there because I altered mine when I installed it on SH5...I just need the original so I can use it in SH4.

I will download your pack but I don't have the hard drive space to use it yet...maybe very soon I will do some spring cleaning on my secondary drive and make it work.

Do you mean the music.cfg for SH4 itself? I do have a copy of that.

If you mean the original radio.ini, I have that too.

The music.cfg file that originally came with the mod, I had to alter mine to make it work with SH5 and forgot to backup the original copy.

it should be less than a page worth of text that can just be copy/pasted on to a post.

Thanks so much for the replies so far.

Well I can't help you there because I don't have that mod.

I don't understand why you need it for SH4 anyway. No radio station for it should require editing the music.cfg. The radio.ini, yes, but not music.cfg.

Well, you were right, I could just install it regardless.

sometimes I should just try things out and not be so worried.

thank you all so much for the help.
