Did the image in that post come through? Looks AWOL.
Also, the boat allegedly still in service in the ROC Navy is ex-Cutlass: Hai Shih is currently the oldest and longest serving submarine in the world at just short of 66 years.

![]() I remember that Torsk work weekend. We had a list of items to do in the engine rooms. Tim said go get this gray paint and brushes. We tossed the list. Painting began. By the end of the day the Fairbanks were the gray they were originally painted. ![]()
