Default [REQ] Teleport on Dive command (not crash-dive)

Is there already a mod adressing the behaviour of a normal dive command? I mean, SH5 tells me it is not possible to dive because there are people in the conning tower. As this can only be about me, I would love to see that there is an automatic teleport to the central and then a dive instead of manually clear the tower... (Similar to the behaviour of SH3/GWX3Gold).

Is that already existing anywhere and I just did not manage to see it or is this something to be adressed?

ok,

i found it. It is possible if you are using MO or new UI by TDW.

Go in TheDarkWraithUserOptions.py and take a look at these lines:

##################################### Crash Dive (SH3/4/5 Modes) #####################################
# the hotkey used for crash dive
# Format:
#
# CrashDiveKey = [ False, None, False ]
# False = disabled
# None = key used
# False = disabled
#
# so if you wanted the teleport to obs scope hot key to be shift + C:
# CrashDiveKey = [ False, None, False ]
#
# if you didn't want to assign a hotkey for teleport to obs scope:
# CrashDiveKey = [ False, None, False ]
CrashDiveKey = [ True, MenuKeyManagerWrapper.Keys.C, False ]
# teleport on crash dive? If enabled and you are currently submerged then no teleporting will take place
# change below to either True or False
TeleportOnCrashDive = True
# time interval to wait before giving the crash dive command (simulates crew clearing the topside deck) (this value is in seconds - i.e. 5.5 would be 5 and a half seconds). If submerged then there is no delay
TeleportOnCrashDiveWaitTime = 5

So if you read careful the changes that i made you will see that if i press key c i crash dive even i am on deck.
But you do not need to change nothing. The by default version has assigned the key ,,P''.
So, if are use MO ou TDW uis just press key ,,P'' on you are on deck (you will be teleported to obs scope) and the Uboat will crash dive.

Bye!

Ups! but i have a comment about that too: i order a crash dive and when i am at 10 meters i order ,,level the boat'' or ,,maintain dept,, and i change the speed with a lower speed. It seems like a ,,normal dive'' (or maybe not).

Bye!

Yes, that would be great to have an teleport to Control Room after give normal dive command as in SH3 !

Question to the Modder: Is it possibel to mod this ?

Best regards,
Magic

This was default for SH3 and SH4 because you didn't have free roaming by default, just certain areas in the rooms.

The problem is that in real life the Watch Officer (or Captain, if he's on the bridge) would order the dive first, then wait until the rest of the crew has gone below, then follow and pull the hatch shut behind him. Ideally you should be taken to the conning tower, and more ideally be automatically walked there rather than teleported. Of course the true ideal would be to sound the alarm first and then walk down yourself afterward.

I also thought about being "walked down", but actually, I only feel the situation annoying to be on the nav-map and order a dive (not an alarm at all) and nothing happens, but a message saying "You cannot dive, crew is on deck"... Then I manually teleport to one of the scopes (or walk there), and order the dive again... As I am often having this, I though, an auto-teleport to whereever in the boot would be handy here.
