What file would you look in to find the "image back-up file?" for windows 7 64 bit?

http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/1838/...-in-windows-7/ I don't know what you mean about "what file you look in to find the "image back-up file", you mean the folder or location of the backup you made? You chose the location of where to backup when making a backup of files, folders or the entire PC. |

I don't understand the question...
When you make a Win7 backup, you yourself define where to place the backup. Same goes when using an "external" program like Acronis... So... please try again ![]() |

Update:
okay, so here's the story. I bought a new computer (a display model ![]() When I got to AVG, I went to reboot it after the install, and windows wouldn't start. ![]() ![]() ![]() So, by 2 am, I gave up and decided to have the store tech dept look at it. (basically re-install windows- The comp didn't come with a windows disk ![]() The tech guy, started it up, went through the song and dance, then threw his arms up in the air and said "there's nothing I can do, we need to send it to the vendor." So I just returned the computer and got a refund. Round two: So I got a different computer, took it home and made a back-up disk ![]()
