Can you Loadout your Uboat for 1st Patrol?

Basically, the gent who you would normally speak to about such matters, had the text option 'greyed' out!

So before i set off again, with a new 'fistfull of emblems mod' to boot, can i choose my loadout and add an Emblem?

If using the silentotto option , when in the pen just hit Esc and choose the in port save . Upgrades will become available .

So just to clarify, when i start my new campaign, before i enter the boat or select a mission, i hit escape and 'Load' again the already saved automatic "in port" save that appears from the off??

No , select a mission and start the campaign . When you are first in the bunker , hit Esc to go back to the save\load screen . Load the top most save which will be your autosave in port .
