I loaded the RFB 2.0... for no apparent reason, the game slows down and then starts to crash... is there a fix for this?
I'm running a quad core (i7) with 6 GB of ram and a 1 GB video card, running windows 7 with the game through Steam. |

Does it give an error message? You might have possibly installed the mod incorrectly. I don't even know if mods are Steam compatible. But I don't know. Try reinstalling the mod and see if that helps.

It may be a long shot, but you might try a fresh download. I've had mods that were corrupted or didn't unzip properly. I can't comment about the steam version though. Good luck.

Your specs sound similar to mine. I'm playing with RFB with no probs. at all. A few tips. Read the stickie at the top of this forum on "SH4 and Windows 7 and Vista" installation. Follow it. Also be sure your SH4 shortcut is not pointing to "SH4gu" This has been known to cause probs. Be sure it points to "SH4exe." Also, be sure to run the game as Administrator. Good luck.
