How to get more missions when the first 3 are completed?

I'm currently in total germany and I finished the 3 missions (the third one is to find a carrier). It's currently february 20th 1940 and I'm missing an iron cross for "total germany".

1. What am I supposed to do to get more missons? Wait? Sink more ships?
2. Is there a way to get resupply from ports other then in germany? I tried the "green" ports but that didn't work.

Take a look up in Norway, if I remember you should have a "nice week at the office" up there
