I use Gmail exclusively. My ISP provides an e mail address which i have never once used.

the good thing about Google is that every email exchange you ever have is saved.

I have had to go back 4 or 5 years and find information i had emailed to someone once, and just by searching the subject matter of the e mail or the persons name it came up within seconds.

also, gmail is extraordinarily good at determining what is spam and what isnt... and it separates them and chances are that 99% of the spam you may ever receive NEVER sees your inbox... every other e mail service i have ever used SUCKS in this department.

Also, there is the video chat which i have not used, OR you can make phone calls to any local number for free, and long distance calls can be made for a small fee. The calling feature has come in handy when looking at order history and confirmation numbers in my e mail while also having to call customer service... or while using the calendar portion of my gmail to set up students with a flight schedule while sitting at the computer on the phone with them at times when my phone might have been in another room or something.

I dont really have anything negative to say about gmail
