If it helps: many people who are forced to get regular shots say that they get used to it pretty quickly.

Every other week for starters, if it's not working (which it won't until I get to that surgery) then every week.

That's not too bad I suppose... Just don't use the same spot over and over for the injection, as far as I know it causes damage to blood vessels.

Not that I'm an expert or something, but let's just say they have (had) a hell of a time in the hospital drawing blood from my mom.
