I was hunting around BF13 & BF 15 when I did a scan with my hydraphone. I suddenly pick up two convoys
![]() The first, which was heading out, had an escort of 6, while the second, which was heading out, only had one!, no guess which I went for ![]() I sent an intercept for it, and reversed course on me! as soon as it appeared on the horizon, down to periscope depth and in we go. 2 T3, 1 T2, 1 C3, 2 C2 & a Troop Transport on the bottom, my IXB torp rooms empty, I pull away from the convoy without been detected ![]() The single escort spent most of the time running around the edge of the convoy. ![]() Is it just a bug that it turned back? This is mid 1941 and a single escort? I'm not going to complain with the results, but has anyone else had this happen to them? At least I don't have to explain this one to Churchill!! 1st Officer: It said in the book limit depth to 150 meters, Sir Captin : I don't consider it a limit! I consider it a challenge!! |
