Much as I love rain (something that we rarely see in Souther California) we're in the middle of a massive storm system that's basically going to sit on the state for a few more days dropping massive amounts of water; no chance of clear skies for the next few days. I have a vivitar 3in refractor and a pair of binocs (7x50 I think).

But it looks like its going to be overcast tonight.

Had a perfectly clear sky to see the eclipse at around 06:45 GMT this morning. Was going to take a few pics, but was too cold (about -10).
