to bring it back to Dowly's favorite subject:

There's a shortage of perfect breasts in this world. It would be a pity to damage yours.

@ Gargamel:

There's a theory - don't ask where I heard it - that "monkey" is the funniest word in the English language, owing to the fact that there is a "k" in it and "k" is the funniest letter in the English language (which is another part of the theory).

I'm not sure, though. "Wombat" is a pretty funny word.

I believe you are referring to a line in Neil Simon's play "The Sun Shine Boys"

Cool! I don't remember where I heard it... probably not directly from there as I've not read or seen the play. OTOH I may have picked it up from the movie, I've seen bits and pieces of that.

Etymology

From Sydney (an Australian Aboriginal language) wambad, wambaj, or wambag. It was originally written whom-batt in English.
I reckon the original pommy spelling was funnier.

If Wombat crossings are so dangerous, why don't they take down the signs so the Wombats won't cross there?

duh

They are not posted for the safety of Drunk WomBats.
They are posted for those that may hit one of them.
All hell breaks loose if you hit a Drunk WomBat!
It's kind of like hitting these.......

WTH.... maybe the crossing would be safer if they stupid kids wouldn't SPRINT out into the street, dragging a blindfolded toddler like a drogue chute, ducking like their taking fire.

Who the hell designed that sign?

I just walked 3 miles through a blizzard in a two piece suit and a light coat to get to work on time because the train couldn't go on due to the ammount of snow on the tracks. If there is any more dancing im going to start stabbing people.
