Let's see. A college town, and the college is Brigham Young University. That's not the fun spot of anywhere.

I went to a place called Reed College in Oregon. It is probably the polar opposite of BYU in every conceivable way.

On the bright side, if I'd gone to BYU I would have graduated in 2 years just to get the hell away.

I lived in SoCal when I was five. I remember the view from my family's backyard of downtown could be obscured by the smog so badly you couldn't SEE downtown on some days. And at night the lights of downtown were always orange..

I dropped out after one year and joined the navy. After I got out I decided to travel and see the country. Funny how Utah just happened to be where I was when I ran out of money.
