No, you said that 18 is considered a teenager. This is not true. An 18-year-old in the United States of America had legally attained the age of majority with exception of the states of Alabama, Nebraska and Mississippi. "Age of consent" does not refer to dating. Legally speaking it refers to sexual relations, or age of consent to marry, which it is assumed will include sexual relations.

On to the point, there are several reasons why I have a severely violent reaction towards pedophilia (lets not start nit picking about the exact term here). I will not be sharing those here, sufices to say some people close to me have been affected by it. I find it quite difficult to stay reasonable when it comes to this topic.
