Have you checked to see if you have the right messages_de.txt file in the data\Campaigns\Campaign folder? The stock one has about 40 messages in it, while the modded one has at least 180..

LOL - thanks for the info - for some reason, the Funkmod's version of this file wound up in the wrong place - I'll move it to the location you noted (which did still have the shorter stock version) and hopefully that will do the trick
