It has a gun, a BAE Systems 57mm gun. It fires at a rate of 220 round per min and has a range of 9 miles. It can engage both surface and air (incl. missile) targets all using the same round. It also has 21 RIM-116 RAM Missiles, 4 .50 cal and 2 25mm guns and up to 45 SR-ASuW missiles could be fitted (Once they are designed and built that is!)

They just have not been fitted yet.

Ships are alway launched incomplete. The fitting out comes later.
