FYI, the troll in the zombie thread is a guy originally known as 'owner'. Despite being banned, he returned time and time again to poison the well in a multitude of threads on the board, making him a real pain in the backside to stop. In the zombie thread, we tried a new tactic: Allow the thread to roll. This was in the hope of two things:

1. To allow him to concentrate his efforts in one place, making him easier to catch each time.

and

2. To prevent him from poisoning the other threads on the board, allowing the productive threads to remain unhindered.

You have stated multiple times that you do not approve of the thread, but given the results, I'd say it has been a remarkable success. I have no intention of closing it anytime soon, since it is the first place he is likely to come back to should he return. So, no, I'd say the troll lost. Big time. That thead serves as a reminder that the community itself is the best defense against trolls.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled programming, already in progress.
