Default Issue that needs attention...

Anyoen noticed the rafts used for special missions to insert troops, agents etc tend to flip too easy in moderate to semi rough surf in addition to blowing up when they bump into the sub while launching? quite aggravating.Thinking its TMO because happened there a bit and also happens when run RSRD with TMO.

Anyone else have these issues?

Unless you lower your boat, they'll have to drop like what? 3 meters? down to the surface.
So lower the boat and make sure you are at a complete stop!

And if it's a howling storm, you wouldn't launch them at all btw...

So not an issue imho...

Btw. it can be a bit of a fiddle to find the right "surface moment" at where to launch them...

Default Luck of the draw

It's not TMO. It happened in stock too.
I've had them successfully launch and watched them head to shore but still capsize if the right wave hits them. I seem to remember this topic coming up in the past and IIRC there was a tweak. I could be wrong.

I haven't had one "blow up" when hitting the sub it just makes that horrendous grinding noise as it uses the same sound file as that for ships colliding. A glaring quality control error I've whined about in much older threads. You can change it but then if two ships actually collide you'll hear your new sound. First time I heard it I went into panic mode thinking I'd run aground or something it wasn't until I did a mission with external view on that I realised it was just the raft bumping into the sub.

The blowing up and grinding sound should be fixed in TMO. The flipping i've been aware of for some time, but i prioritized other things to the point of never getting around to fixing it.
