Thanks,
Sometimes the highest detail settings and/or some graphic options are not allowed unless your packing at least 1GB of video Memory. Im wanting to run this game at high AA+AF with at least 60fps on my new monitor which is 1920x1200 Res, thus the need for a more powerful card!!, i could probably scrape it with a 260GTX, but not those frame rates with high detail. at that resolution .i would guess. |

I went the other way and run a 'kin huge.screen at middling resolution with plenty of AA. I use an HDMI link to drive a 32" LCD TV or a projector with an 8 foot screen, depending on how I feel. Max resolution never really goes higher than 1280 x 1024 though, as I have found the difference at higher res not so noticeable except in degrading performance.

Is there a slider for AF or is that in your video cards settings (I use Catalyst)? I have the one for AA maxed but don't see an AF one. I would assume my ati 4800 hd would show me all options..
edit: the answer is there is not, it's in Catalyst's CCC options. ![]() Last edited by Captn Wilhelm; 12-06-10 at 10:07 AM. |

I had a choice, spend 200 notes on a 22" monitor or a 32" LCD flatscreen telly. TVs with HD capability will do 1980 x 1024, they're basically just big monitors with the added fun of a tv receiver and speakers built in. How much would a 32" monitor cost? In fact my media centre PC on the living room is running through a 37" LCD telly using HDMI as well, it works a treat. A monitor might be technically slightly sharper, but mine fills your view more.
