Do video games cause violence?

This old gem.

Any stimulus can cause violence in someone who's either already unbalanced or particularity susceptible to react badly to said stimulus.

If the media want to go after certain high profile games, then perhaps they should examine the 'family friendly' fayre attractions. I mean wft does 'Whack-A-Mole' teach adolescents? That's it ok to take a mallet to every small mammal you see?
