In TMO the range is much further than that. Much depends on visuals, fog, time of war, crew settings. I know the exact range....way off, you can get blasted by merchants at twice that plus some and a veteran merchant crew can really place some nice long range shots. Also depends on what gun they're using. Maybe you're thinking machine gun range, which is 3000 yards, gun range...a lot more. Yes, theres a set range, but they only can shoot what they see, thus you can get closer at night, ect. If they can't spot you, they'll respond like you're not even shooting as you blast away.. Think both TMO and RSRD, RSRD for sure has a small merchant Q-ship, starts with a T, has 4 Y throwers, sonar and a mass of deckguns, machine guns......don't let it fool ya, Last edited by Armistead; 11-29-10 at 10:19 AM. |
