As I understand it, weather changes randomly every 48 hours if you havent reloaded a save. My problem is that only the wind speed changes, the precipation says different things but its always raining anyway, and theres always heavy fog. Always. Ive been parked in an enemy harbor since thursday waiting for a chance to sink a cruiser I think is parked out there, only I cant do anything but wait because visibility is down to 200m. I think Ive had about enough realism now, the fogs gotta go.
Is it possible to edit the fog into transparency, delete it entirely, or at least insult its mother? |

Change in Sensors.cfg Fog factor=0.85 to zero.
Now the crew will see through the fog and spot it. Now go to target screen and make solution and blow it up. I assume you have no active radar to use? Without cheating, why not go to periscope depth sneak up to it and see it, then back up perfect to 300m to 400m and fire off a torp in its direction? |
