Ubisoft Bucharest has enough problems at the moment.
First they have qualified the patch for RUSE, as apparently the developers of Eugene Systems had no time for it or were too expensive and this patch did not bring the desired improvements and bug fixes as announced. And now they have to fight with HAWX2 PC version because this game is full of bugs, tends to constantly app crash and the PC multiplayer practically does not work.

So there is no room left at present to support also such a niche game like SH5

Anyone else sense a common trend here? It's enough to make me think, "don't buy ubisoft games". Sad thing is, i used to love the games ubisoft put out. Now, i see the ubisoft logo, and i think twice. They REALLY, REALLY need to improve their development process and quality assurance. As it is now, Ubisoft means, "buggy game that is not entirely finished".

Completely agreed. There are certain companies that you see their logo on the box, and you think 'This is going to be pretty good'. UbiSoft used to be one of them. Used to.

Just for grins, I decided to check the Steam forums for the HAWX release. It really reminded me of SH5. Not that I'm interested in an arcade "flight" sim, but I figured I'd take a gander and see how their whole launch and DRM system is working out.

Same launch and unable to load the game issues SH5 was plagued with. Apparently they didn't learn anything.

I'm in the same boat everyone else is in. I see Ubisoft now days and avoid it like the plague.

You know what, ditto. I remember back in the very early 1990s buying C64 and early PC games and feeling confidence when I saw the Ubi logo (but then, they distributed other development house like Microprose, Elite and EA games, so that may have made a bit of difference in quality). Now...HA!

And honestly, when I see the Ubisoft Romania name I definitely avoid. And I make no apologies to anyone here for having that opinion.

You should see what's being said over at the UBI SH5 forums. Not sure if any of them are members here or not, but some probably are. They are not happy campers either. And some over there can't see the thru the fog that UBI has put up on how wonderful SH5 is. Even Yves Guillamont is in on the damage control.... but it ain't workin. It's probably the same senario with all their other broken unfinished games too, tho I don't go in those forums.

I do know that SH5 is the very last game/sim I will ever buy from them. From now on anything with UBI's name on it is taboo. I really really hope UBI and their junk disappears from the gaming world someday.
