Turn off the "no stabilize view" to help in a heavy sea. It may be a bit gamey, but for practicing your stadimeter work, there's no better aid.
Keep in mind that at long ranges, you're best bet is to get a feel for where he's heading, cut him off, and let him come to you. THEN once you have a good clear sight picture, start with the stadimeter work. I use the stadimeter primarily as a targetting tool, and try to get the best solution I can with it. Some use it as a snapshot, some don't use it at all (Dick O'Kane method). For me, I've learned to use it, and it serves me well. Your mileage may vary ![]() Quote:
