No. As much as I disagree with these jerks (and I do), committing illegal acts is not the appropriate response.

The spirit of our nation's belief in the concept of freedom of speech is tested in how we treat people who we vehemently disagree with.

I was refering to the fact that no one in town would help them.

I disagree. I value the right to have an undisturbed funeral higher than their right to protest. The US courts came also to this conclusion by making a no-protest zone in the proximity of the graveyard for the time a funeral - I don't know if it only goes for a military funeral though.

I would even go a step more far and say I value the right of an undisturbed funeral more than their right not to have their heads kicked in!
