I'd go with Dawn of War Platinum. Most campaigns as you say and the basic gameplay is both traditional RTS and what CoH is, so it's the easiest to get into.

Thanks for the input. Tried Dawn of War II last night to see what the difference was. Although it's not a bad game, it's definitely not what I'm looking for at the moment. I guess this is what the latest CoH expansion is like(forget it's name). Will probably get it later on though.

Just played a Skirmish in DW Soulstorm. I'm glad I bought it just from the nostalgia the sounds produce.
"Build Order 7621, initiated" "For the Emperor!" "Yes, Most benignant one?" First skirmish was my Space marines(who I haven't made a custom skin for yet) vs Sisters of Battle(randomly chosen) on the smallest map. Quickly annihilated them. With 5 Space marine squads and 1 scout squad. One of the hero unit's was spawned right before the battle ended to join in on the fun.
